This amendment is based on Pension Minute

section 21 Proviso in the Ceylon Pension Minute but a limit of £200 has been substituted for that of £250. It has the unanimous approval of the Executive Council and of. the Finance Committee of Legislative Council.

It is estimated that the cost to this Colony is not likely to exceed £1,000 per annum at any time and would generally be much less. I accordingly sulmit the amendment for your consideration and sanction, if approved.
